The Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative Nominating Committee is seeking cooperative members qualified and interested in joining the Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative Board of Directors for the 2021 program year. Members are encouraged to participate in the Edge Board of Directors by nominating either themselves or other individuals to positions that will be available at the end of fiscal year 2020. Further information on positions available, nomination requirements and the process are provided below.

Positions Available
Three (3) Directors (3-year term) will be available at the end of fiscal year 2020.

Nomination Requirements

1. Nominees must be members in good standing of Edge.
2. Each nomination must attach an Edge Board Interest Form stating:

• Nominee’s name
• Position to be nominated for
• Nominee’s willingness to serve in the position for the term of that office (and until his or her successor has been duly elected) and devote 5-10 hours/month to Edge (depending on position) related matters.
• Brief statement by the candidate highlighting both the candidate’s qualifications for the position and the reasons for running.

Nomination forms must be submitted no later than Friday, November 20, 2020 to our Executive Director, Tim Trotter at ttrotter@voiceofmilk.com or 2763 Manitowoc Rd. Ste B, Green Bay, WI 54311. 

Nomination Process 
The slate of nominees will be formally submitted to the membership in the Nominating Committee report during the Edge Annual Business Meeting to be held virtually on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM via Microsoft Teams. At that time, other nominations may be offered from the floor and the board election will be held in accordance with Edge by-laws.
