Introducing a new permitting service for dairy farmers: Maestro. Offered through Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, this first-of-its-kind program provides farmers with the tools and resources needed to streamline the permitting process. Our team assists farmers in orchestrating the many steps and processes of obtaining and maintaining a permit.

Permitting Perfected

The Maestro program is a consultant-based resource that connects farmers to the right technical service providers needed to meet the unique needs of their farm. Working with the Maestro program farmers will receive ongoing collaboration to keep the permitting process moving forward, from the initial application to ongoing reporting. Additionally, the program will be creating a network of service providers familiar with the permitting process and have successfully worked with other farmers.

The Maestro program was developed to address the complexities of the permitting process and to give farmers access to trusted resources and reliable experts.

Program Participation

We serve dairy farmers looking to expand or who have already reached the level necessary to apply for a permit. Members of the Voice of Milk have priority access to this service.
