Last year we reimagined our Farmer to Farmer Policy Picnics. The change in format to these picnics proved to build a stronger bridge between members and work on the issues that matter most to them. Each Farmer-to-Farmer meeting will start with either a tour of the host farm or a discussion about a practice that the operation has in place. Many Farmer-to-Farmer picnics will have guest speakers as well as a brief policy update from Edge staff before the floor is opened to attendees to share thoughts on area issues they see fit to address.

Our goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where members can come together to learn, share and grow as farmers and advocates for agriculture.

Farmer to Farmer meeting at Grotegut Dairy Farm/Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center

Cost: FREE, dinner and Farm Wisconsin Discover Center admission ticket included

Time: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Evening will include a farm tour, dinner, a panel on digesters, information on digester insurance and a tour of the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center.
