DBMMC signs letter to President Trump on immigration reform

DBMMC is a member of the Agriculture Workforce Coalition, a group of more than 70 agricultural groups working together to bring labor stability to agriculture through changes to our immigration system.

The co-op was one of several groups to sign on to a recent coalition letter to President Trump that emphasizes the importance of immigration reform to American farmers. The letter described the labor shortages that affect most of agriculture and how this lack of a reliable workforce harms economic growth and reduces overall job growth for domestic workers, too. The Agriculture Workforce Coalition is managed by staff from the National Council of Farmer Cooperative. DBMMC is also a member of that group.
