Lawmakers press USTR on NAFTA

U.S. trade officials have been working around the clock with their Mexican and Canadian counterparts to wrap-up NAFTA modernization negotiations.

Last week, a bipartisan group of 68 House members sent a letter urging U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer to negotiate the elimination of Canada's Class 7 pricing program.

Edge commends the members' efforts to put an end to Canada's trade-distorting policies that affect our ability to successfully export U.S. dairy products.

In March, Edge staff and leadership met with representatives at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to discuss the importance of trade to dairy.
