Greetings,
At Edge, we are always looking for ways to improve the services we provide to our members. We believe improvement is an expectation, not an option. We see firsthand our members striving to do the same thing on their farms. Your cooperative must be aligned with members and also with the dairy community. Over the past month you should have received an email or noticed our messages in e-newsletters highlighting an opportunity to share your thoughts through a survey conducted by Aimpoint Research. This third-party research will help guide us forward. Thank you for participating. This process is not a substitute for our annual check-in meetings conducted by our member services team. Fully expect to see your Edge representative soon, if you have not already.
In the weeks to come, we will be reviewing this critical information, identifying ways to improve, and implementing them though our strategic planning process. As your executive director, I am eager to see what outcomes are identified through this rigorous process. History has shown Edge that the voice of the farmer never disappoints. Rather it provides the wisdom, direction and methods to improve.
Also, the alignment within the dairy community has never been more important, especially with the events of 2020. Due to the vision of our members, we provided calm and stable leadership during these volatile times. We will keep you posted as we continue this journey and hope that you have a safe and productive harvest season.
To our success, Tim
