The Headwaters Agricultural Sustainability Partnership works with three integrated dairy farms to develop a series of case studies on the economic and environmental impact of farming conservation practices. Each farm includes dairy and row crop production. Each farm is a different size, utilizes different farming practices, and has exhibited different environmental benefits. Each of the three farms has completed the Minnesota Agriculture Water Quality Certification Program, a voluntary opportunity for farmers and agricultural landowners to take the lead in implementing conservation practices to protect our water.
